Welcome to the Potawatomi Area Council Troop 156 website!
In our Troops, we want to stress the goals of Leadership, Advancement, and Service. In an ideal Troop, the Scouts must run the show. They must grow and become good leaders. Scouting is full of leadership opportunities for every Scout. Advancement is the key to keeping the Scouts interested. The goal of First Class rank in a year can be achieved if the Scouts get a "kick start" by attending summer camp their first year and actively participating in the Troop. Throughout the year, our Troop will offer many types of service projects which are fun and give everyone a feeling of making a difference in our community. We’ve held food, book, toy, and clothing drives, help maintain the nature trail at the Middle School, run Blood Drives and many other worthwhile projects. Our 3 goals all come together when the Scout initiates and completes their own Eagle Service Project. No matter what rank your son or daughter achieves, the values and skills learned in Scouting will last a lifetime.
The Troops meet twice or three times a month at the Pilgrim Park Middle School in Elm Grove, WI at 7:00pm till 8:15pm Tuesdays.
